This name generator gives you 15 random names for the continents, naturally those names work very well and will work well with the names of nation, nation, kingdom and empire, and virtually every other form of territory, but the names are more in line with the other continents. This is, of course, only a random generator, so certain names will not suit perfectly depending on what you are looking for. But there are tens of thousands of reports, so there's plenty to learn. The last four names suffer most because the names are longer than the first six.
To generate another 15 random names you just have to press the button. With every click 15 new names are generated.
What is a continent? Well, it was not the first continent to be discovered. The first of many continents to be discovered is Pangea. Then there were a number of super-continent and sub-continents before Pangea.
Ever since the Earth's surface cooled and solidified, on an almost monthly basis, it goes through a period where it cracks up and each continent, like the continents on its side, goes through a sort of cycle where it ends up on the opposite side of the world, and so does each continent that was formed after that. The one exception to this is Asia, which is on its side right now. Once the Earth is cooled enough, it turns back over to its original place. Now you have a problem, because the first continent that came into the Earth's orbit was Pangea. So how did Pangea get its name? Because it was the last continent created by the Big Bang, which occurred four billion years ago.
After all this, what happens with the next six hundred and forty-five continents? They go through the same cycle again, with one exception. This time, it is the African continent that ends up on the opposite side of the world. At this point, Europe and Asia are still on the Earth's surface, but South America, Africa, India, Australia, and Antarctica are now the furthest sides from the Earth's center. The next time we see them, I hope that the name of the continents is "supercontinent" and not "continental," because it is confusing.
