Lasats are a species of ape-like humanoids, known among other characteristics for their agility, strength, and climbing ability. They are also extremely tall, it would consider two meters short. Fighting skills are prized in Lasat culture, and facial hair was an important status symbol. Not many Lasat are known by name, so we didn't have much to work with, but the names that are available appear to be mostly melodic. There were some harsher tones here and there, so we used those in this generator to build upon the range of potential titles.

A race of humanoid, sapient, insectoid species, the Lasat are originally species native to the outer rim world of Lasan. They were an ancient race of insectoids that used their strength and ability to fly as their weapons of choice in their wars against their fellow creatures and plants. Though they were quite advanced by the time of the Galactic Civil War, they were not nearly as technologically advanced as the Galactic Empire was, and this has resulted in them being heavily hunted by the Galactic Empire and later the New Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Although they lost to both sides, the Lasat were the only species who survived the attack. The surviving Lasat formed the Lasat species as a result of the devastation of their homeworld.
The Lasat were once a powerful race but were weakened because of their lack of technology. As a result, they became nomadic and evolved to become the kind of beings you might see on the deserts of Arabia. For a long period of time, they lived as hunter-gatherers, using the animals that they could catch and kill as food for their own sustenance. Over time, as they got further into the Outer rim, they managed to come across a new race of insectoids that had a natural affinity for metals and the like, and these races allowed them to use the metals in a way that they never thought possible.
They made their living for centuries in the mines of the metals, developing an almost religious faith in the use of the metals in their lives. It was at this point that they started developing technology to be able to harness the metals in the proper ways. Their first attempts were unsuccessful, and they learned through the experience that the success of a mission depends heavily on the resources that they put into it. This is why the original Lasat civilization fell so quickly; they did not spend enough time researching the metals. The Lasat race developed a form of technology that could harness the three metals at a time in order to allow them to create weapons that they believed would be able to defeat the Galactic Empire and the Galactic Republic.
