Their cones also helped them to sense their targets' moods, state of mind and level of awareness. Gotal names are very guttural, but there are also several harsher tones in their names. The first official Star Wars film, A New Hope, was a huge hit and many fans wanted to recreate the special effects with Gotal robots. In the film, Gotal were robotic humanoid beings native to planet Antar 4 who were armed with blasters. Their most distinguishing features were their two conical horns that grew from their head, acting as extremely sensitive electromagnetic detectors. These weapons were capable of destroying any object, large or small, that it came into contact with. These characteristics were then brought into the film by the Gotal who, after being defeated in battle, were then rebuilt into a deadly fighting force.

The Gotal robots were a great invention and they were the perfect weapons for any war room in a sci-fi movie. The Gotal robots were an amalgamation of sci-fi fiction and technology and they are often referred to as robots because they look more like robots than human beings. While these robots did have some humanlike characteristics, their primary purpose was simply to shoot objects at great distances and this is what makes them unique. They were also extremely efficient in their roles and were able to be programmed in such a way as to protect a military force against enemies. They were extremely effective at their tasks and were able to destroy many battleships during World War II.

Although Gotal robots were used extensively throughout the Star Wars films, they were never actually featured in the actual wars that the movies were based around. It would appear that the idea of Gotal robots was a very popular one, but it was not used as a part of the battle plans. Gotal robots, although amazing in their appearance, were never meant to be part of military operations. As a matter of fact, many of the original Gotal robots were destroyed as they were used to construct the Death Star.
