First introduced as part of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Trogg are a strange race of humanoid creatures first found on the world of Azeroth, where they were created by the once powerful titans as the perfect allies for their own cause. When their creators were slain by the Scourge, the titans themselves fell under the control of the undead lich, Kel'Thuzad, and they were forced to work alongside the evil menace until the time of the Cataclysm. During the Cataclysm, however, Kel'Thuzad was killed and the titans were revived. This allowed the titans to create a new breed of titans - the troggs - as part of their new order of creations. However, they also had to deal with the pesky trogg that had once been their allies, since the titans' new creations have been known to attack and eat them as well.
The trogg horde are aggressive, intelligent and somewhat unintelligent creatures. They are very similar to the draenei in terms of how they communicate with each other and the nature of their lives. They have a tribal structure, and all members are considered warriors in their own right. They have an advanced form of intelligence and their body is covered with thick brown hair that they use for a form of armor. Their skin color ranges from blue, green and silver depending on the location they are found. The more common color for the troggs is blue, but even those that do not have the color of their skin tone do have a darker version.
The trogg horde are known for their ability to regenerate health much faster than any other race, thanks to their magical regeneration abilities. They are highly resilient creatures, being able to shrug off a number of attacks without having to deal much damage and survive in spite of them. Unlike the other races of Azeroth, the trogg are extremely powerful at dealing damage, using both their armor and weapons for devastating attacks. They are also good fighters, making them useful in a variety of environments. As with the other races of Azeroth, they can also be tamed, which allows them to serve as helpful companions to those players who wish to level up their characters in various PvE professions.
