This book is based on the Greek mythology and was written by Kurt Sutter, a writer from California. His writing style is very unique, as he brings the ancient myths to life through his words. This book also contains quite a bit of action and drama, which will make the readers want to read more of it. Although, there are some scenes that were very disturbing and I would not recommend this book for younger children as it deals with a lot of gore and violence. However, this is not the only thing that makes this book stand out among other action/sci-fi books. It also manages to create a very personal and touching story about the character of John Sheppard and how his past comes back to haunt him. Overall, this book had a very good and unique story and is a definite must-read for anyone who wants to read about the ancient Greeks.

For those people who do not know much about the mythology, Kurt Sutter managed to weave an interesting and unique story, making the reader understand more about what it all means. Even though, there are a lot of spoilers in the beginning, it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Overall, the story is not as exciting as I thought it was going to be but it is still a very good one. For sure, this book will have you hooked for quite some time, especially if you enjoyed reading about the ancient Greeks, which I most certainly did. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a good and unique story about the ancient Greeks, as well as something that will make you think.
